Flake epoxy over a ground, crack-filled slab, the standard upgrade for a Green Valley or Anthem garage.

Coatings for Henderson garages, interiors and pool decks, from 1990s Green Valley slabs to new Cadence builds. We grind, test for moisture and put the price in writing first.
The city grew one master plan at a time, so the slab under your car depends a lot on which decade your neighborhood went up.
Homes around Paseo Verde Pkwy, where older slabs often need a past coating ground off first.
Homes around Anthem Center off Hampton Rd. Expect a moisture test and crack fill before flake.
Streets near Rio Secco Golf Club, where garage and driveway both take full sun.
A 1,320-acre plan with two guard-gated entries and DragonRidge Country Club.
Newer homes on the city's west side, where open desert still meets the streets.
Several builders around a central park of nearly 50 acres, so no two slabs get assumed alike.
Floors here can be 25 years old, with oil soaked in at the tire lines. Oil pushes fresh resin away and leaves small craters, so stained concrete gets ground out instead of covered.
Off Lake Las Vegas Pkwy, the floor in question is often outside: a patio or pool deck. Plain epoxy ambers in sun, so exterior work gets an aliphatic coat or textured cool deck.
By move-in, a builder slab is long past 28 days old. Age isn't the issue; texture is. The slick trowel finish and any curing compound both get ground away.
The west side's newer streets sit beside open desert, and spring wind carries sand into open garages. We close up and vacuum the slab right before each coat.
Cure slows as slabs cool, so coats get longer between passes. A fine window for 1990s garages that need heavy grinding first.
The weather service says strong winds come mostly in spring and fall, bringing blowing dust. Garage doors stay down while coats are wet.
July's normal high is about 104.5F, and heat shortens working time on fresh resin. Fast-curing polyaspartic gets mixed in smaller batches.
With the monsoon usually gone by September, fall suits outdoor work: pool decks, patios and walkways that bake all summer.
All eight ZIPs that touch the city. 89044 is only about a quarter inside the city by land, so give us a cross street if you're near the edge.
Most of the garages in this area sit on 1990s or 2000s slabs. About 30% of homes were built in the 1990s and 31% in the 2000s, giving a median build year of 2001. The older Green Valley slabs will often be stained or cracked, with some wear to the surface. We grind to a clean concrete surface and fill any cracks before applying our base coat. The newer Cadence and Inspirada garages are much smoother but can still hold the builder's curing compound, which also has to come off. Two-thirds of homes are owner-occupied and 69% are detached, so most garages in the city suit a flake floor with a UV stable top coat.
We don't sell one system citywide. An older slab gets more grinding and crack work; a newer one gets its curing film removed and a moisture reading. Either way, the estimate says which coats go down and why.
Because prep is where floors fail, and we spend the most time there. Every garage gets diamond grinding with a vacuum shroud, a moisture check and crack repair before the first coat. You get the price and the system in writing first.
